Welcome! This blog was created for you and your child to share all the wonderful books, stories and events that you experience over the summer. We will also be posting books that we read as well, and where we are reading them. We hope that you and your child will join in on the fun. Allie has been busy writing! Nice job Allie. We love you too!
"Allie has been reading to her little brother, Jake, at night. He is very impressed with all the words she has learned so far, and thinks she is very smart since she can use the pictures for clues to help figure out the “tricky” words!"

Mrs. Hoyt
Happy Summer and Happy Reading!
Mrs. Hoyt just returned from a family vacation to Ireland. With flights that were 6 and 7 hours long she had time to read a book each way!
I read books that are biographical/historical/fiction and non-fiction. I wonder what my students are reading?
Next on my list is an educational collection of books as I am starting a summer class tomorrow! Be sure to let everyone know about summer activities and reads!
