Mrs. Hoyt

July - 13
Mrs. Hoyt has been reading through her collection of books, deciding upon which ones she may like to read to students next year.
Here are some of the books she recently read and enjoyed!

In addition to enjoying lots of great books in class, Mrs. Hoyt likes to read books about teaching
and is taking some classes over the summer.  "I am really enjoying this book!"  Kids Deserve It! Pushing Boundaries and Challenging Conventional Thinking.

Mrs. Hoyt loves reading books to her kindergarten friends.  We are currently enjoying Charlotte's Web by E.B. White.  It is a fun story about a friendship between a pig and a very talented spider.  "I love all of the big words we are learning when we read this story!", said Mrs. Hoyt

First Grade teacher, Mrs. Hayes shared a couple of her favorite books!

First Grade teacher, Mrs. Hayes shared two of her favorite books with friends in room 103.  Have Fun Molly Lou Melon and Ish are both at the top of her list.

Recently Ms. Mills shared Giraffes Can't Dance by Giles Andreae and Mrs. Bourgeois read The Most Magnificent Thing by Ashley Spires.

Both books contain the message that we must always try, not matter how challenging things are.

  1. I love Charlotte's Web! I'm so glad you are able to listen to this story. It is one of my favorite stories. I also love the Charlie and Chocolate Factory, The Littles and the Frog and Toad books. I'd love to hear about the other books you are reading!
